, Thank You Letter :)

Dear Parent Helpers ,

Thank You Mr Alai for coming down to the picnic with Class 2. It was really nice to have you come and help our classroom. Your help meant alot to us. I also thank you for looking after my bag and food. You were also cool and very kind. You were the best helper I ever had coming to the picnic. If it wasn’t for all the helpers there would be no picnic at all.

At the picnic we do sports like Volleyball, Softball, Rugby, Touch and many other sports. Ms Vaafusuaga and Mr Jacobson took all the sports gear down to the beach and set it up as the school was getting ready to go.

The best memory at the picnic was playing volleyball and getting to know different people from our school. Volleyball is one of my favourite sports. I really enjoyed the picnic on Friday.

Once Again Thank You For Coming!

Kind Regards

Faa’aoane Ulipa

It was Eden’s turn she said she wanted a mermaid doll because it was pink, purple and red. Lucky last was Katie she wanted a Girl Smurf because it was pretty. As we finished talking to them about what toys do they want they asked a question and the question was “ How Are You Guys Going To Make It ? “.

Para3: When we finished interviewing Pisirina, Eden, and Katie they walked into class and shouting at me and saying “ Make Sure My Mermaid Is Pretty Okay “ I replied “ Yes I will “.  We all started giggling. It was a fun day interviewing the Year 2s.

Friday's Assembly :)

This morning we had school assembly, it was so exciting because there were going to be some performances. As we sat down in the hall everyone was talking about what’s going to happen. Mr Burt had some Korero to talk about and that was “ Is It Kind “. When he had finished the Hip Hop Group performed a dance it was so cool. After that these girls performed a Samoan Dance it was amazing.

After the amazing performances Gloria went up on the stage to ask the girls some questions about dancing.  Some of the questions were How old were you when you started dancing ? the lady replied when they were 2 or 3 years old. The other question was Can you show us some dance moves ? the girl showed us how to do a Si’e, a Si’e is moving to side to side it was so easy to do and she even showed us a Faitaupaki that was really hard to do.

As assembly was nearly finished we watched some movies of What Does Waitangi Mean To Me?. The first movie that we watched was made by Steveson Erick, his movie was really good and interesting. The next one was made by Class 12 Miss King’s class.  That movie was our waking out movie.

What Does Empathy Mean

What Does Empathy Mean:
- Sharing
- Friendship
- Understanding
- Emotion
- Worrying
- Feeling
- Looking Out For One Another
- Caring
- Experiences

" Empathy Writing "

Empathy is about understanding or feeling someone else’s emotion. Empathy to me is caring for one another when their down. Also Empathy means caring about your friends and when you can feel what other people feels.

Empathy is when you look after a new person that started our school and show them around the school and take care of them for the day. Empathy means when someone is feeling down you stay by their side until their happy again. Empathy also means caring about one another. Empathy is helping one another and treating people well.

Empathy also means sharing your ideas with one another and also look out for eachother. Always make someone happy when they are down . :)

That is what Empathy means to me. Empathy is feeling someones emotions. >_<

Holiday Highlights *-*

Para 1 : On Christmas eve my church had a party that started at 10 to 12: 30. We had a tea together and played games. On Christmas Day we had a family party it was fun and exciting but my other family came it just made a big argument  that was what made my Christmas bad.

Para 2 : Waking up the next morning feeling happy as ever because it was my best friend's birthday. We went to bowling and laser strike. After the birthday we went over to my friends house and ate, we ate potato chips, lollies, pizzas and drinks. The next day we just stayed home and did our chores.

Para 3 : As my holiday was nearly over I think to myself what would it be like not being in the same class as my friends. It came to the last day till school and I nearly got crashed it was so close. I was so scared and think to myself i’m not walking by myself ever again.

I woke up feeling excited to come to school. It was good to know i was in Mrs Lagitupu’s class.
