At Pt England School in my classroom we are learning about decimals and fraction. So if I said there was two school are selling gingerbread man as a fundraiser. School one has 45 gingerbread men to sell and they have 7/9 of them.
School two has 56 gingerbread men to sell and they have sold 6/8. Which school sold the most.
School one: 9 x 5 = 45 and then 7 x 5 = 35
School two : 6 x 7 = 42 and then 6 x 7 = 42
So the most school who sold the most is school two.
