Netbook Reflection

               

How has having a netbook connected to the internet helped my learning this year ?

Having a netbook has really helped me with my learning alot. It has given me an opportunity to work online at all times. Having a netbook is fun and cool because you don’t have to work on paper and pencil that makes your hands sore. Another reason about having a netbook is because you can find out a lot of information about other people and your work with other people on the other side of the world. I am very proud to have a netbook and to work online like Math Whizz, Xtra Math and My Next Steps . It really fun to have a gmail and google docs of your own. Some bad things that I don’t like about netbooks is that people be dougies and in the wrong place at the wrong time.

My year at school this year was really hard and fun because the hard part is learning hard stuff like hard maths questions with Mr Barks and Mrs Nua. The fun part was going playing sports out of school and going on trips. But the most important thing this year is learning maths and achieving my goals and listening carefully to instructions and each steps to what to do.

Being in Mr Barks and Mrs Nua’s class is really fun and cool I wish I was in that class next year. Having Mrs Nua in the mornings is really fun and good. Having Mr Barks for the rest of the day is really difficult because he pushes us to learning what we don’t know and try our best this year.

Being split into different class is boring to be honest  because they don’t do work that our class does like recount writing and fraction maths. As the year 8’s went to camp we got split up and me, Taeshell and Cheyanne were in room 20, it was kinda cool .

My biggest improvement this year is in math because I move up where I was supposed to be this year. I really want to say a big Thank You to Mr Barks and Mrs Nua for having me in their class and helping me in my learning this year. I enjoy coming to Pt England School.

, Action World Recount

On Friday the 6th of December the year 7’s went to Action World. But First we came to school, mark the roll and waited for the bus to come. As the bus arrived we got on the bus and went off, it took I think 30 minutes. When we got there we went with the man name Jeremy who showed us around and told us what to do.

We went into groups and we went to the crazy ladder. It was nearly my turn it looked so scary but when I try it it was so easy and fun I wanted another turn but we had to move to the next one and it was the jump N slide. It was my turn it took ages to jump off because it was so high, I jumped off and it was cool so I had a turn heaps of times. It was lunch time for 10 minutes and we could go have free time it was so fun at Action World. We spent 3 hours at Action World.

It was 12:30 it was time to go back to school everyone was so sad. On our way back to school playing a game called SWEET & SOUR. It was so fun on our way back to school. When we got to school we had lunch and dance practice. But before we had dance practice we played a game called sleeping lions and it was Miss Vaafusuaga idea it was fun. Having dance practice it was so cool and everyone was tired.

Swimming Reflection

                            Reflection :)

During our swimming lessons I learnt how to do backstrokes and freestyle technique. I really learnt a lot in just two week and it was lots of fun. I think I improved swimming because I remember to bring my togs and towels and remember to listen to the person who are teaching us. Swimming mean a lot to me now. In the future I need to work to swim a bit longer and learn to swim in a deeper sea/pool.
